Pigeon racing is one of the oldest competitive sports in the world, and its clubs run with deep tradition, genuine camaraderie, and a serious commitment to the birds. But when race day ends, most clubs are still sharing results the same way they did decades ago — paper reports, email chains, or clunky spreadsheets passed around in group chats.

We saw an opportunity to do better. Not by replacing what makes pigeon racing special, but by giving clubs the same kind of professional online presence that any modern sports organization deserves.

dexLoft started with one club — the Manchester Nutmeg Club in Connecticut — as our proof of concept. We built their site from the ground up: live race results, loft analytics, weather context, a member dashboard, and a clean news feed. The response from their members was immediate and enthusiastic. That told us this was worth building for everyone.

Truffledex LLC is a small software company focused on building bespoke digital tools for niche communities that deserve better than off-the-shelf solutions. We believe the best software comes from deep domain knowledge — not from trying to be everything to everyone.

Our team has backgrounds in software engineering, data analytics, and — yes — pigeon racing. That combination drives every product decision we make. When we designed the race results page, we thought about what a loft owner actually wants to see after a long day at the race. When we built the analytics dashboard, we thought about what makes one bird — or one season — stand out from the rest.

dexLoft is our product for the pigeon racing world. It is designed to grow with the clubs that use it, adding features driven by the people who race, not by what's easiest to build.
